Our story began in 2006 when our co-founder and IT professional, Tadeu Souza, had the opportunity to assist an optometrist with their computer network. Tadeu proceeded to implement a practice management and EHR system, alongside our second co-founder and organizational change expert, Karoline Souza, setting the stage for our journey. They discovered that optometrists need a far more modern software solution that would make them more efficient and that they would actually enjoy using. This inspired them to dream bigger and with the support of industry thought leaders, they embarked on a mission to create EyePegasus. Dr. Eric Bass, a visionary, joined the team contributing his expertise shaping EyePegasus into what it is today.
